McDavid scored a power-play goal on six shots, added three hits and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.
McDavid netted a shorthanded goal, distributed a power-play assist and put three shots on net in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Few players in NHL history have had his wheels, and fewer still have been able to make plays at high speed the way he does. He can stickhandle in a phone booth and turn opposing defenders inside out with his fakes. His play away from the puck is improving, making him even more dangerous as he enters his prime. He is also mature beyond his years, which is helpful since he is hacked and whacked more than almost anyone in the NHL (but he is usually smart enough to stay out of the penalty box). He is one of the best players to ever play the game.
